Build It Green
Awareness Campaign
The workforce development program Build It Green (BIG), gives young adults hands-on training in community organizing, carpentry, home repair, and weatherization. In exchange, they receive a living allowance and educational award.
I was asked to create a “face” for BIG, and decided to let the members do the talking. Interviewing and photographing these fresh faces was a joy. Pairing their portraits and quotes illustrated the program’s impact, making it more relatable.
